Are there any precautions required before undergoing the surgery?
Yes, a few. The most important is to stop smoking a month prior to the surgery and for a month after it. This is important for faster and better healing of the wound. You should have been at your weight for atleast six months to a year before undergoing this surgery. Your blood tests will be done prior to the surgery where other risk factors will be ruled out. A few other dos and don’ts will be discussed with you during your consultation.
